Dr. Ashwini Khanolkar is a specialist paediatric surgeon, with an experience of more than 12years in the field. She has done her undergraduate training from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad with distinction marks in most subjects. She is a Jaslok Hospital alumnus, having procured her postgraduate degree, her Diplomate in National Board (DNB) in General Surgery from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre in 2011. From there, she went on to do her super specialization (MCh) in Paediatric Surgery from one of the prestigious government medical colleges in the country, Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. She received multiple accolades during her residency in multiple national and international conferences. She then returned to her hometown Mumbai and worked as a full-time associate consultant under some of the best names in the field and gained further knowledge and specialized skills. She has acquired specialist certificates in Minimal invasive surgery (Laparoscopic and Thoracoscopic) especially in young children and infants. She has successfully performed a variety of advanced and reconstructive surgeries on very young children, infants and neonates.

a. Presented “Thoracoscopic Repair of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia: Unfurling The Curtains of The Abdomen.” as Free Long Paper Presentation- Thoracic surgery session at 13TH Annual conference of PESICON 2018 held in Delhi on 23rd to 25th February 2018. AWARDED 1ST PRIZE for the same.

 b. Long Oral Paper presentation on “The Laparoscopic Management of Choledochal cyst in 131 patients” at IAPSCON 2018 held at PGIMER, Chandigarh. This paper was NOMINATED for IAPS-KK SHARMA award.

 c. Short Oral Paper presentation on “Tracheo-Esophageal Fistula secondary to ingestion of small coin foreign body” at IAPSCON 2018 held at PGIMER, Chandigarh. Awarded BEST PAPER presentation.
