- Principal investigator for NIH, USA and the European clinical trials for over 20 years – primarily the CINRG / Treat NMD – muscle research groups and the Pediatric epilepsy group.
- Involved in teaching post graduates in Paediatrics over 24 years and being a guide for their thesis.
- Member task force for setting up NMD registry and gene therapy trials in India under the banner of ICMR
- Founder member of MDA India - NGO, 20 yrs ago and we run the school for MD children with help of corporation of Chennai since 2008
