Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh is one of India’s foremost Neurosurgeons with more than 40 years of impeccable Neurosurgical experience. Being an expert in the field of neurosurgery, he has performed over more than 20,000 successful neurosurgeries on the brain, spine and peripheral nerves with a special interest and expertise in complicated brain and spine tumour removal.
Despite his stature in National and International Neurosurgery he remains humble and has dedicated himself to his patients and their care and has his patients well being and outcome as his dedicated aim. This quality perhaps makes him a remarkable neurosurgeon indeed.
His trust “Dr. Ghosh charitable trust (Brain Research and Advanced Institute of Neurosciences)” has many aspects of providing assistance to needy medical students and patients requiring Neurosurgical and Neurological care. The trust has performed over 3000 neurosurgeries and has conducted free medicine delivery, free camps, several health programs and also offering scholarships to students for education.
He is currently in-charge of the National Board of India, Neurosurgery training programme at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and is also the principal investigator for Institutional Ethics Committee- clinical studies for Apollo Hospitals. He has published numerous research papers and organized various conferences.
