  • Several Certificates of honours during MBBS and MD Course Launch of Indo European Course on Revascularization Dr. Vivek Gupta in association with Prof Alain Cribier of France has launched Ist Indo European Course on Revascularization, in New Delhi. This was held in New Delhi on Jan 4-6, 2008.
  • The course is joint collaboration with European Commission, Embassies of France, Nederland and Italy, Government of New Delhi, Thrombosis Research Institute, London, Erasmus University, Holland, and Hospital Charles Nicolle, Rouen, France. Dr. Vivek Gupta along with Prof Alain Cribier were Course Directors. Course Co-Director included Dr. Fayaz Shawl, Dr. PC Rath, Dr. HS Sharma and Dr. Vijay Kakkar. The basic objective of the Course is teaching of yourg Interventional Cardiologist of India and Asian Countries. The highlight of the meeting was 12 successful Live transmission featuring Complex Coronary and peripheral angioplasty from different hospitals including Columbia University, New York, Royal Brompton Hospitals,London, Opatelle Grosseto, Italy, Zulekha Hosptial, Dubai, PRS Hospital Trivendrum, AIMS, Cochin, Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai, Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Nizam Institute Hyderabad. This teaching course was well applauded by Chief Minister (Mrs Sheila Dixit) and Health Minister (Dr. Yoganand Shastri) of Delhi, Member of Parliament (Dr. AM Singhvi), Dutch Ambassaor and French Embassy Counsellar of Science and Technlogy. This congress was available live on website of Government of India (http://webcast.gov.in). The programme is available on www.indoeurocardiologycourse.com 12 International Faculty participated in the Scientific programme and there were about 500 registered delegates from India and different countries of Asia and Africa. The next meeeing is scheduled for Nov 2008.
